This article reports that Webstakes Web site changed its name to Promotions.com. Company CEO Steven Krein believes the changed name better defines his business. With its new name, stock symbol, logo and the launch of its first major advertising campaign, the firm is trying to remind potential customers that it is more than just a Web site. The Web site is being positioned as a business-to-business company that provides clients with tools for running online promotions, permission-based direct marketing and targeted electronic mail campaigns.
