SSL to close condom plant, technical center

The article informs that SSL International PLC will close its last European condom plant in early 2008 when it shuts down its factory in Spain and transfers production to Asia. The firm said that it is also planning to close a technical center in Cambridge, England. It is stated that work at the Cambridge center will be moved to manufacturing facilities in Thailand, India, and Peterlee, England, no earlier than March 2008.
