ABSTRACT
The article profiles Deb Henretta, the president of Procter & Gamble (P&G) in Asia. In the words of a mentor, Chief Executive Alan G. Lafley, Henretta's job is to accelerate the growth rate for P&G in Asia. The company says Asia-Pacific sales already have been climbing at double-digit rates since 2002. The 46-year-old Henretta says she is confident of revving up the company's growth still more. She says she wants P&G to win in Asia through innovation that inspires consumers to choose their brand over their competitors' brand.
