The article reports on the imminent approval of the application by Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. and Calik Group for the construction of a refinery in Ceyhan that will be issued by the energy regulator of Turkey. The partnership of Petrol Ofisi AS and OMV AG as well as the joint venture between State Oil Co. of the Azerbaijan Republic and Turcas Petrolculuk AS for similar refineries is also expecting approval. The total investment in the three refineries is reported to be about $11 billion.
