ABSTRACT
This article reports on the highlights of the Guest Chef Series event of the University of Massachusetts, in which Walter Scheib, White House chef from 1994 to 2005, was invited to prepare several dishes. These dishes were considered favorite meals by the Presidential families that he has served. More than 3,500 attended the event, at which Scheib greeted students and university personnel and prepared eight items, from Corn and Scallop Chowder to a Pear and Gingerbread dessert.
