ABSTRACT
The article reports on the third quarter 2007 revenues of Netherlands-based semiconductor manufacturing equipment supplier ASML Holding NV. ASML reported its net sales were $1.3 billion, down from third quarter 2006 net sales of $1.4 billion. Net income was $238.5 million, falling below third quarter 2006 net income of $244.1 million. The company expects a gross margin in the fourth quarter between 40 and 41 percent with research and development expenditures to increase to $177.4 million
