ABSTRACT
The article discusses the issues surrounding the compliance of the registration, evaluation, authorization of chemicals legislation (REACH) by various chemicals companies, which will be overseen by the new European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). The European Commission has established a series of Reach Implementation Projects (RIPs) intended to produce the definitive technical guidance on Reach. ReFaC, the Reach Facilitation Company, is an independent company managed by the industry, for the industry.
