The article focuses on the redevelopment of a former ice factory into a contemporary hotel in Mexico. A Spanish investment group approached the partners of Grupo Habita, a Mexican hotel firm known for hip boutique hotels, to create and operate La Purificadora, a new hotel to be the centerpiece of a revitalization masterplan for Puebla, Mexico.
