ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs in Canada in 2007. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned that injectable haloperidol should not be administered intravenously. The American Medical Writers Association will bestow its prestigious President's Award to Peggy Robinson, Canadian Medical Association Journal's former manager of submissions and peer review, and former managing editor. According to the Canadian Institute for Health Information, Alberta has replaced British Columbia as the El Dorado of the health care profession because it attracted more health care providers than any other province among 1996 and 2001.
