ABSTRACT
The article presents a comparison between the poor and lavish lifestyle conditions of people in Canada. The author offers information and statistics concerning Canadian poverty and luxury. Information on poverty includes the percentage of Canadian living below the poverty line, annual welfare incomes by category and province in 2005, and the estimated number of homeless people. On the other hand, facts about lavish lifestyle includes the estimated amount spent on cosmetic and plastic surgery in 2003, average home price and the price of most expensive home in the market, and the average price of expensive automobiles.
