ABSTRACT
The article focuses on kiosk-based self-service applications and dynamic digital signage influencing point-of-sale behavior. Self-service applications and dynamic digital signage are the fastest developments in foodservice technology, which represents a move of replacing static method of communication to vibrant screens. The five trends affecting the design of quick service restaurants' menu boards as determined by the study of Mainstreet Menu Systems are also discussed. INSET: QSR Digital Displays In Use.
