ABSTRACT
The article discusses the three-week annual training of U.S. soldiers during the Operation Sand Castle 2007 at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California. On the first day, the Soldiers were taught to operate the M-2.50-caliber machine gun and the M-249 squad automatic weapon (SAW). On the second day, the Soldiers were trained on how to shot the enemy from a moving convoy.
