ABSTRACT
The article offers information on certain articles published in this journal exactly 25 and 125 years ago. In the October 18, 1882 issue, a telegraphic report was published quoting Standard Oil Co. has purchased the Richmond and Danville railroad, with its leases of numerous connecting lines. In the October 18, 1982 issue, it was reported that Johnson & Johnson's competitors in the $1.2-billion over-the-counter pain reliever business are stepping up production of their products.
