ABSTRACT
The article reports that Linde Group has acquired the Bank of China (BOC) for $17 billion. With BOC, Linde also became the leading player in China, the world's third-largest economy and soon to be the third-largest gases market. Now, the company calculates for itself a share of 33% of the country's pipeline business counting 50-50 joint ventures at 100%.
