ABSTRACT
The article reports that fishing boats are subjected to the American With Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for it is considered a public accomodation. Since part of the regulation for facilities offering public services is to remove barrier, the U.S. Access Board made talks concerning the matter. In addition, Florida Gulf Coast PVA is working with the Marine Safety Division to create modifications regarding the installation of a wheelchair-accessible bathroom.
