ABSTRACT
The article discusses the findings of a survey about custom injection molding machine-hour rates for the December 2006 to June 2007 period. The semi-annual survey of 88 molders in the U.S. reveals that machine-hour rates increased by one percent during the said period. Seventeen percent of the respondents raised their rates by an average of nine percent, while seven percent lowered their rates by a similar amount.
