ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's view on the importance of human resource (HR) management. According to the author, HR acts as the guardian of integrated policy at a strategic level, successfully leading a change agenda, the champion of quality and productivity, the deliverer of talent when needed and the cornerstone of sustainable economic benefit.
