ABSTRACT
The article reports on the effort of 4-H leader Dick Orth and his Tioga County club in New York to help their local bat and bluebird populations. In 2006, the club built bluebird nesting boxes and donated them to an Owego park. The club also constructed bat houses and donated them to Oakley Corners State Forest in Owego.
