On Patrol

The article reports on the experiences of several environmental conservation officers (ECOs) in New York. While on patrol, ECO Brian Wade monitored a 911 call reporting a drive-by shooting. ECO Wade was patrolling nearby and met the suspect vehicle at an intersection. While monitoring fishing activity, ECO Matthew LaCroix came upon a fisherman with an undersized striped bass in his bucket. It turned out that the fisherman was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant.
