Nature at Water's Edge

Nadler, Jeff

New York State Conservationist;Oct2007, Vol. 62 Issue 2, p6
The article focuses on paddling a kayak or canoe as a perfect way to explore habitats and photograph fauna and flora. Any way to get on the water is fine, but kayak offers numerous advantages for nature photography. With more spacious cockpits and a shorter length than touring and sea kayaks, recreational kayaks sacrifice some speed and efficiency in travel.
