ABSTRACT
The article reports on the efforts of buying group Cantrex Group Inc. to become a consumer-focused national furniture and appliance retailer in the U.S. Part of the company's business plans is to design products and support programs to ensure the profitability of independent retailers. This new strategic focus was the result of a collaborative effort on the part of the company's senior management team, who also sought input from the members across the country.
