ABSTRACT
The article reports that Germany-based specialty chemical company Lanxess Corp. is mulling some restructuring plans. Lanxess has been pursuing a policy of streamlining and restructuring itself. Recently, the company sold its coatings, dispersions and printing inks subsidiary, Borchers, to OM Group Inc. Lanxess is investing in growth areas. The company has recently announced a project to produce ion exchange resins in India.
