ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Japanese firm Toei Animation, the Israeli firm Vringo and MTV were among the winners of Mipcom's Mobile and Internet TV Awards in October 2007. According to Ted Baracos, director of digital media at Reed Midem, the awards had a record 280 entries from 180 companies in 38 countries. Toei Animation won for its made-for-mobile service that offers animation to subscribers' cell phones.
