ABSTRACT
The article offers information on how important personal contact is for both altruistic and self-aggrandizing reasons. It is stated that individuals contribute to the community's vitality by attending to special events. It is also claimed that the connection to development, career and art is through dialogue. It is suggested that individuals should be their own behavioral therapists in such cases.
