Multiple Vitamin/Mineral Boosts Mental Health in Older Adults

The article reports on the result of the study concerning the benefits offered by multivitamins and minerals towards the mental health of older people. The study was participated by 225 hospitalized old patients where they were administered with folate and vitamin B12 and placebo. A comparison on the group given with folate and vitamin B12 with those with placebo was given. It reveals that depression was evident in the group with folate and vitamin B12 deficiencies.
