ABSTRACT
The article reports on a study related with efficacy in preventing recurrent ulcer bleeding in patients with previous NonSteroidal AntiInflammatory Drug (NSAID)- induced ulcer bleeding. Treatment via combination of celecoxib and esomeprazole was compared with use of celecoxib alone. A randomized controlled trial was designed with subjects taking nonselective NSAIDs for arthritis. The results show that the combination-treatment group had a lower chance of recurrent ulcer bleeding in patients.
