ABSTRACT
The article features the new helmet guitar, designed by Rich Roland. He contacted Glen Derringer of BC Rich Guitars and presented two prototypes of the guitar from the factory in China and showed it to them. The company immediately accepted the design and is now being produced in preparation for its launch in November 2007. The Helmet Guitar is available in 12 colors and features an onboard nine-volt amplifier with a two-inch speaker built into the ear hole of the helmet.
