ABSTRACT
The article reports on a five-year contract awarded by the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) to Pierce Manufacturing Inc., a subsidiary of Oshkosh Truck Corp. Under the contract, Pierce Manufacturing will manufacture 10 Oshkosh Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) Water Tender (HEWATT) vehicles. The vehicles are to be delivered starting June 2008.
