ABSTRACT
The article discusses the filmmaker Sally Potter's film "The Tango Lesson." The author highlights the issues of translation in terms of language and cultural identity. The film features Jewish exiles from Argentia and is filmed in Spanish, French, and English. The dance called the tango plays a prominent role in this process of translation.
