ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision of U.S. President George W. Bush to implement international sanctions towards the military dictators in Myanmar. The move was brought by the repressive actions shown against protesting monks in the country. However, it shows that Russia and China expressed their disagreement concerning Bush's plan where the two countries have military and economic relations.
