ABSTRACT
The article reports that Renzo Piano has revealed his plans for High Museum expansion in Atlanta, Georgia. The expansion of the museum, which features a distinctive sequence of north-facing "light scoops," was designed to admit filtered north light into the upper galleries. Piano's buildings will form the west and south face of a piazza bounded on the east by the remodeled facade of the existing Woodruff Art Center.
