ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Foothill Ranch, California-based Kaiser Aluminum Corp. to construct a new facility in the Midwest as part of its $91 million investment program to improve its operations. According to Jack A. Hockema, chairman and CEO of Kaiser Aluminum, the investment program will enable them to significantly enhance their logistics and manufacturing efficiencies. The new facility will employ two extrusion presses, a remelt operation, warehousing space and laboratory.
