ABSTRACT
The article reports that a study by the NPD Group has shown that Apple Inc.'s iTunes is the third biggest music retailer in the United States in any format, whether physical or digital, with its 9.8 percent share of the business. Wal-Mart is still the top music retailer with 15.8 percent share of the market. Wal-Mart is followed by Best Buy which has captured 13.8 percent of the market.
