ABSTRACT
The article reports that sound engineers and recording studio owners in Nashville, Tennessee, have observed that the shutdown of Masterfonics and Emerald have caused a void in the Music Row studio community. Fred Paragano, the owner of Paragon Studios, noted that every business experiences ups and downs. Producer Richard Landis, who owns the Fool on the Hill studio, one should keep in mind the kind of studio environment needed by engineers.
