ABSTRACT
The article cites a survey which indicated that about 10% of adults are self-testing their blood pressure (BP) in Great Britain. According to the study, which employed 3,000 men and women, those who have self-tested their BP are more likely to have also used other self-tests. Moreover, study leader Dr. Richard McManus adds that people opt to self-testing because of better control of hypertension.
