City firms join forces to promote diversity

The article highlights the announcement of Stephen Sidebottom, chairman of the City HR Association, that human resource (HR) practitioners in the City of London, England are to co-operate on a shared approach to diversity. The association, which has about 200 members from the top financial firms in the square mile and Canary Wharf, will map out best-practice guidelines on diversity. They are expected to tackle issues such as flexible working and avoiding discrimination in recruitment.
