ABSTRACT
The article discusses challenges to mobile device management and efforts of the telecommunication industry to overcome them. The growing complexity of mobile devices has made device management difficult and costly. Handset configuration is one the biggest dilemma because on average it costs the operator $65 per phone. Offerings of device management services provider Services Bridgewater Systems are cited.
