Fees as a Marketing Tool

This article discusses the use of fees as a marketing tool. Establishing a fee structure can be an effective way to help make sure your financial planning clientele keeps up with the marketplace. Consumers often consider it acceptable to pay for advice, the same way they pay their other professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants, with whom planners often compare themselves. By establishing a fee schedule for your services and advice, you place a stated value on what you provide to your clients. You state what you do and what it costs to have you do it. By doing this, you will raise the image many people have of you.
