ABSTRACT
The article reports that the government of France is investigating competitiveness within the film distribution industry. Launched by the ministries of the economy and culture, the Inquiry will focus on the theatrical releases, including the number of prints and the length of time that a picture remains in release. Furthermore, vice president Anne Perrot of the National Council on Competition will spearhead the investigation.
