BE could double up on new nuclear

The article reports on the plan of British Energy (BN) to get involve in proposals to develop one or two new nuclear reactors before the end of 2007 according to CEO Bill Coley. The CEO stated that the assessment of the company of four possible nuclear designs had a different focus to the safety assessment compared to one being performed by the Nuclear Installations Inspectorate (NII). He cited the two forms of partnerships that his company plans to engage with.
