(NALCO) is soliciting proposals for a caustic soda plant with an option to scale it up into an integrated chlor-alkali/ethylene dichloride (EDC) project. Brazil's thermoplastic resin output is likely to grow by 8-10 percent in 2007. U.S.-based Cook Composites & Polymers Co. (CCP) is introducing a new line of vinyl ester resins.
