Bedding stellar performer, furniture store data show

The article focuses on the business performance of the bedding distribution category of furniture stores in the U.S. According to the Furniture Store Performance Report released in September 10, 2007, the bedding category accounts for 14 percent of the selling space in furniture stores but returns 15 percent of total sales. In addition, bedding is the second largest of any category after stationary upholstery, which is at 20 percent.
