Klaussner sets logistics plan

The article reports that Klaussner Home Furnishings, an upholstery producer and case goods importer, has signed a contract with Salem Logistics to handle all transportation and logistics for the manufacturer. Jeff Davis, vice-president of business development, said that the company built its business by shipping truck full of product to some of the largest retailers in the U.S. David Eshelman, president of Salem Logistics, said the deal had been in the process for more than a year.
