Heating/Piping/Air Conditioning Engineering;Jun2007 Supplement, Vol. 79, pBSE16
The article offers pieces advice to facilities managers on how to significantly decrease fixed operating costs by improving boiler efficiency at a low investment. Performing a linkageless-controls upgrade or installing a new burner fitted with a lingkageless-control system is one way to improve efficiency and lower costs. Additional feature on this system is the variable-frequency-drive control of combustion-air-blower motors which can reduce noise and produce savings on electricity.
