ABSTRACT
The article discusses the benefits of upgrading and modernizing the aging industrial boilers in the U.S. It states that more than 25% of registered commercial and industrial boilers are past their intended life, posing reliability and safety risks as well as increased pollution and wasted resources. According to the article, replacing these with modern systems that are engineered with efficiency boilers and computerized controls can benefit the environment by reducing pollution and green-house gas emissions.
