Russia uses Topsoe methanol process TOP

The article reports on Soe's methanol technology assistance to Russia's JSC Shchekinoazot for a new 450,000 tonne/year plant. The plant will be located at Shchekinoazot's existing site in Shchekino, Tula, Russia. The plant is scheduled to start by the end of 2009. It will be based on Topsoe's methanol synthesis and methanol distillation reforming processes.
