ABSTRACT
The article reports on Kemira Inc.'s planning to build a 15,000 tonne/year production plant for the feed and food additive calcium propianate at its site in Yixing, east China. This plant is expected to be completed by the year 2008. Kemira Inc. is already produces calcium propianate in Tiel, the Netherlands. It is also planning to invest $6.7 million to increase production of calcium sulphate pigments in Siilingarvi, Finland.
