MIBK rides out feedstock rise

The article presents information on the effect of the European third quarter (Q3) propylene contract on the price of methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) price in the MIBK market. It is observed that the increase in the propylene contract is unlikely to affect the market. The article informs that on the feedstock side, discussions are under way for Q3 acetone contracts.
