ABSTRACT
The article reports on web-distribution plays by television broadcast networks. Advertisers are considering how advertisements for top programming will affect the online video marketplace. Media company CBS Audience Network (CAN) has begun distributing shows to websites America Online (AOL) and Microsoft Network (MSN) among others. The article also discusses the online video service Hulu, the selling of digital inventory by the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS), and viewer participation.
