ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decrease in the sales of medium and heavy trucks in April 2007 according to figures compiled by Wards Communications. A total of 47,017 trucks with gross vehicle weight (GVW) ratings above 10,000 pounds were sold by dealers, down 21% from the same period in 2006. Class 8 trucks were down 45% compared with April 2006 followed by the 26% of Class 7 trucks.
